Faux Postage

I have been exploring how to make faux postage using The Gimp, and liked the way this stamp turned out. There is another example on my weblog Five Acres with a View.

I love faux postage ad I really like what you created. How long have you been using GIMP? Do you like it?

I've been using it to crop and resize photos since September, but have been trying to learn how to use it better in the past month or so, by finding online tutorials and playing around with it a lot.

I like it a lot: very powerful program. I especially like the new release, which 2.0. I have a steep learning curve with graphics programs, but love fooling around them anyway.

Did you redesign your site recently? I've been looking at photos that I don't think I saw before. I like the BABY.

If you're on a learning curve with the GIMP, then I think I won't even try it.
