Dear AOL,

I think it was so nice of you to send us that nifty plastic DVD case in the mail a few days ago. It didn't take more than a few seconds to remove the stickers and the trash inside. I am not sure why you keep sending us stuff, when we have never been your customer, and are far outside of your customer target group, but the plastic DVD case was a winner. (I was about to write that you couldn't pay us to use your service, but decided we are open to offers.) Anyway, thanks again.

Love, Elaine

Eggg-zactly! I am tempted to rush out, buy a DVD recorder, and make a copy of something, just to stick in the nice plastic case.

Don't have one of those yet, but Meridel used to take some pleasure in gluing rubberized sheeting to the back of their CD's to make coasters.

She's pretty much grown out of that by now, though.

Yes, those AOL CD have lots of uses. Every now and then someone will show something they did with the CDs on The Carol Duval Show (HGTV). Apparently if you warm the CD a bit, you can cut it up without the thing shattering. Then you glue paper rope on it and make it a pin.

The CD is also the correct size for template for some quilting uses.
