I am astonished to learn that people are using Kool-Aid to dye fibers.

I've done it yonks ago to get pale dye effects for a renaissance faire type costume head-cover, but those are much stronger, clearer colors than I had ever seen. Very cool.

I've actually got some felt in the microwave right now... being dyed with Kool-Aid!
