A New Syndrome

My friend Susan, the Neon Nurse, has described a new syndrome: Predicted Snow Traumatic Syndrome. I have been battling it myself. At least the weather was mild enough today that I could ride both Hap and Lily, since it might be another month before I can get back on a horse.

I've had that myself! After a month of ice in 1994, everyone was traumatized. Christine moved to Philly the following summer and couldn't get over the way every reacted to just the threat of snow.
