It was 7 degrees below 0 (Fahrenheit for those of you who live with rational measuring systems) when I checked the deck thermometer this morning. This is the coldest I can remember for seven or eight years. We got more snow yesterday: enough to be nuisance without doing much to alleviate our current drought. However, this same storm added to the snow pack in the mountains, so that is a Good Thing.
