Yesterday, it was 9F when I woke up. Today, it is 44F. And the Chinook, which tends to blow when the temperatures rise, isn’t even that strong this morning. It will be so nice to go out and feed the horses this morning.

Temperatures are relative, I suppose. It's been cold here for about three days, but that means as low as 29 degrees F. and more often in the 30's and 40's. (It'll be back up to 60 soon.) On the other hand, when it hit 39 degrees F. in Miami, I imagine they were in shock.

I've been watching that big California storm and wondering if it will eventually travel your way. Maybe the mountains will break it up first.
